MESSENGER - Vegetal Nougat

The unisex MESSENGER is made from a fine, ecological, vegetal tanned cowhide leather, that acquires a unique patina with use.

It has an adjustable strap with ergonomic crossbody cut, with 2 big compartments, 2 small inside pockets and 1 businesscard pocket.

The closing-system is entirely in leather.

WHAT IS VEGETAL-TANNED LEATHER ?

Vegetal-tanned leather is made using natural tannins found in organic materials, such as leafs and tree barks, to add a unique look and feel to the animal hide.

Harmful chemicals are avoided.

One of the best features of vegetable-tanned leather is that it develops a patina over time with prolonged use and exposure to the environment. Due to the gentle processes involving several weeks of treatment, the vegetal-tanned leather has a much longer life than chrome-tanned leather. It has a distinctively sweet, woody fragrance that is normally associated with leather.

Natural markings on leather - like scars the animal gets from the wild, from fences to insect bites etc are no deficiencies but proof of its authenticity.
