The BIG ENVELOPE is a handmade bag in a soft cowhide leather combined with a calf-fur in a herringbone pattern.

It is closable with a sober magnetic lock, has an inside pocket and comes with silver metal details.

Combined with STRAP it is perfect as a Clutch, Purse or iPad-Case.

AND WHAT IS VEGETAL-TANNED LEATHER ?

Vegetal-tanned leather is made using natural tannins found in organic materials, such as leafs and tree barks, to add a unique look and feel to the animal hide.

Harmful chemicals are avoided.

One of the best features of vegetable-tanned leather is that it develops a patina over time with prolonged use and exposure to the environment. Due to the gentle processes involving several weeks of treatment, the vegetal-tanned leather has a much longer life than chrome-tanned leather. It has a distinctively sweet, woody fragrance that is normally associated with leather.

Natural markings on leather - like scars the animal gets from the wild, from fences to insect bites etc are no deficiencies but proof of its authenticity.
